Easier Chicken Parm

Crispy-edged chicken cutlets baked with marinara and gooey mozzarella, classic chicken parm flavor without the heavy breading or mess. Simple, fast, and weeknight-friendly.
You get all the comfort of chicken parmesan with fewer steps. A quick skillet sear (or straight bake) keeps it easy, the sauce does the work, and the cheese makes it feel like the real deal.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts, sliced into thin cutlets
- 1 teaspoon salt (to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (for searing)
- 1 cup low-carb marinara (or your Base Keto Tomato Sauce)

- Optional: fresh basil for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Season chicken cutlets with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 2–3 minutes per side (just to brown; it will finish in the oven).
- Place chicken in a baking dish. Spoon marinara over each piece.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake 12–15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
- Optional: broil 1–2 minutes for extra browning. Serve hot.
